ADVANCEMENT PROGRAM
FAST TRACK YOUR NURSING CAREER WITH ECTC
FOR ENROLLED NURSES ONLY
Graduation at Flinders
Today and looking forward to the future, it is becoming increasingly evident that the key deciding factor in nursing is knowledge. That is why it is so important to choose a program that will equip you with the knowledge you will need throughout your nursing career.
At ECON Careskill Training Centre (ECTC), we know that pursuing an education entails considerable resources and time investment. Because we understand what concerns you most is the real value of your investment, our collaboration with the Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia, provides Enrolled Nurses a unique and efficient pathway to a successful nursing career.
About the Course
Enrolled Nurses who wish to undertake the Bachelor of Nursing from Flinders University must undertake the following topic at ECTC in Singapore:
- NURS1102 Anatomy and Physiology 1
At ECTC, this topic undergoes the same academic assurance processes as it is taught at the School of Nursing & Midwifery in Flinders University.
Students who are accepted and enrolled in the program with ECTC are eligible to continue with their studies in the Bachelor of Nursing on site at Flinders University.
As Enrolled Nurses, you are granted credit transfer by Flinders University for your educational background in Singapore. Upon successful completion of this topic, you will be granted direct admission to First Year, Semester 2 of the Bachelor of Nursing at the University. The duration of your on-campus studies will then be shortened to two and a half years only.
Students enrolled in the topic taught by ECTC receive equal recognition as students undertaking the Bachelor of Nursing on Flinders campus, and are entitled to receive the same services available to all Flinders students and graduates.
You will be eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of South Australia as a Registered Nurse upon graduation.
Currently, the topic is conducted annually at ECTC from July to October on every Tuesday and Thursday from 8.30am to 11.30am.
