1. Bachelor of Nursing (For Enrolled Nurses)

The Bachelor of Nursing is an undergraduate pre-registration program, which will lead to registration as a general nurse with the Nurses Board of South Australia.

The program aims specifically to educate nurses who are reflective about practice and have well developed clinical reasoning skills; understand that professional practice demands life-long learning; and have achieved the Australian Nursing Council Inc. (ANCI) competencies for registration as a nurse.


Course Information

  • 1st time in Singapore

  • Direct attainment of Nursing Degree

  • 1st year complete in Singapore, 2nd and 3rd year complete in Adelaide, Australia

  • Advanced standing for Enrolled Nurses: up to 8 months exemption

  • Registered with Ministry of Education

  • Leads to registration with the Nurses Board of South Australia upon successful completion of the course

  • Cost saving: during the 2nd and 3rd year are allowed to work 20 hours a week during the semesters and full time during term break or school holidays


Program of Study

Includes nursing practice, challenges to body integrity, psychosocial science cognate, nursing research, nursing care in mental health disorders, contemporary issues in nursing enquiry.

Entry Requirements

Pre-Requisites & Requirements
The admission requirements include the successful completion of one of the following:
- Singapore GCE Advanced levels with a minimum attainment of 2 Advanced levels
- Enrolled Nurse Certificate
- STPM (Malaysia)
- Hong Kong Advanced levels (HKALE)
- SATs (USA)

Exemption
Enrolled nurses will be exempted up to 18 units, depending on their qualifications and relevant experiences. International students from non-English speaking countries, but with professional nursing qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

English Language Requirements
Applicants for whom English is a foreign language must provide evidence of their English Language proficiency.

The normal minimum requirement is either:
- A score of C or better in Singaporean, Malaysian or British GCE 'O' level English.
- An overall band score of 6 or better in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic.
- A score of 550 or better in the Test of English as a foreign Language (TOEFL) or 213 in computer-based TOEFL.
- A score of C or better in the HKCEE.
- Successful completion of an Australian Year 12 program.
- Other secondary school passes in English language maybe acceptable in individual cases.


Enrolment Application Details

  • For A level holders: Commence in February every year
